Meet Our Board of Directors

Courtney Stuckwisch Wong

President

Courtney brings her experience in teaching and operations management to Luke's House. She works in the City of New Orleans Office of Economic Development. Outside of work she enjoys volunteering at Crescent City Cafe and being involved with her church.

Ragan Collins, MPH

Vice President

Ragan is the vice president of Luke's House and brings extensive experience in public health work to our team. She works as Executive Director of Health Care for the Homeless in the New Orleans Health Department. She is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for underserved populations.

Dr. John Brent Wallis, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Wallis is the medical director and a volunteer physician at Luke’s House with over 15 years experience in medical leadership. He works as vice president of clinical integration at Peoples Health, and holds academic roles at LSU Medical School.

Laurent LeBien, MHA

Secretary

Laurent has extensive healthcare experience across government, non-profit, and for-profit sectors. He's served as a hospital chaplain and insurance contract author. He holds a Master of Health Systems Administration from Tulane and is dedicated to healthcare equity and holistic care.

Hellen Ignatiou-Georgiou

Board Member

Helen is a Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry, with over 20 years of experience in mental health, including case management, crisis intervention, and home health. She holds an MA in Forensic Psychology and is crisis intervention (CPI) certified.

Wendy Rihner

Board Member

Wendy is a retired Delgado Community College English professor. Her relationship with Luke's House Clinic started as a financial donor but now includes her role as "head gardener" at the clinic's pollinator garden. Rihner considers herself lucky to be a member of the board and loves her work with us.

Carolyn Lonon

Board Member

Carolyn retired full time from pharmacy after many years and now helps us at Luke's House. She is a proud member of Mount Zion UMC, mother of 1, and grandmother of 2.
